What Is Landing Page Design?
Landing page design is the design of a page built to guide visitors arriving from an ad, an email or a campaign link toward a single goal. Navigation and distracting links are kept to a minimum; a headline that matches the ad message, a clear value proposition, trust signals, a short form and a single call-to-action button carry the visitor to the quote, sign-up or purchase step.
Landing page design is a dedicated page structure built to guide visitors toward a single goal. That goal might be filling in a form, requesting a quote, or a quick conversion around a product or service. Unlike standard web pages, landing pages keep distracting elements to a minimum.
The user’s attention is focused on one message, one offer and one call to action. This structure delivers highly effective results in digital ad campaigns and conversion-focused work. In the landing pages we build at Aurora Yazılım, we focus not only on visual quality but also on speed, mobile responsiveness, alignment with the ad message and conversion performance.
The landing page is where the money paid for a click either pays off or goes to waste. No matter how well targeted the ad is, if visitors don’t find what the ad promised, the form is too long or the page loads slowly on a phone, the budget is spent for nothing. That is why we start every landing page project by looking at the ad copy, the target audience and the conversion to be measured together.
Aurora Yazılım has been delivering web design and software projects since 2006. We distill the experience from more than 380 projects into a single question for landing page design: What step does this page exist to get the visitor to take, and how will we measure that they took it?
Every landing page has one main action expected from the visitor; every other section supports it.
LCP target
≤ 2.5 s
This is the threshold Google’s Core Web Vitals consider good for loading the main content.
INP target
≤ 200 ms
The good threshold for how fast the page responds to interactions such as tapping a button or typing in a form field.
Touch target
44–48 px
The recommended comfortable touch target size for CTA buttons and form fields on phones.
The core stage of our conversion-focused landing page process
WhyUseaSeparateLandingPage?
The homepage exists to tell the whole brand story; it opens doors in dozens of directions, such as services, about us, blog and contact. An ad, on the other hand, speaks to a single need with a single offer. Combining these two purposes on one page forces visitors to find the information themselves and often ends with them leaving.
Conversion-Focused Page Structure
Built Around Your Ad Campaign
Mobile-Friendly and Fast Loading
Prominent Form and CTA Areas
Welcomes Ad Traffic the Right Way
When a user clicks an ad or arrives from a specific campaign link, they want to get straight to the information they are looking for. Too many menus, scattered content and unnecessary redirects can make them lose focus.
One Message, One Goal, Clear Action
A landing page keeps users away from distractions and carries them to a single goal. That goal can be requesting a quote, filling in a form, signing up, getting in touch or making a purchase.
Boosts Ad Efficiency
Sending ad traffic to a standard homepage usually lowers efficiency. A landing page built specifically for the campaign increases the chance of conversion and makes ad spend work harder.
Built for Conversion
WhyDoesLandingPageDesignMatter?
A well-built landing page keeps visitors from getting lost. It delivers the message clearly, explains the service quickly and prompts the user to act. Especially in campaigns with ad spend behind them, sending visitors to the right page is crucial.
Because a landing page offers a campaign-specific structure, it increases the chance of conversion. When users find the continuation of the ad’s message on the page, they decide faster. That is why landing page design is not just a visual page in digital marketing, but a strategic tool that produces real results.
A separate landing page has another benefit: measurability. On a page with a single goal, success is tracked with a single rate: the number of forms, calls or purchases divided by the number of visits. With that rate, you see which ad group, which headline and which offer works based on data, not guesswork.
Content that matches the ad message
Clearer user guidance
Higher form and quote conversion
More efficient campaign performance
Focuses on a Single Action
The core purpose of landing page design is to guide the user toward a specific action. That action can be filling in a form, requesting a quote, getting in touch, signing up or moving into the purchase process.
Every Section Supports the Same Goal
The page’s headings, descriptions, buttons, images and trust signals are planned to support the same message. Thanks to that clarity, users understand more easily what they need to do.
Makes Decisions Easier
The less users have to think, the faster they decide. That is why a simple structure, short messages and prominent call-to-action buttons are so important on landing pages.
Anatomy of an effective landing page
WhatShouldaSuccessfulLandingPageInclude?
An effective landing page is a flow that answers the questions in the visitor’s mind in order: Am I in the right place, what is on offer, why should I trust you, what do I need to do? We arrange the sections in that order and return to the same call to action at the end of each one.
We also treat the form as the most critical component of the page. The form is where conversion happens; every bit of friction here can waste the interest earned on the rest of the page.
A Strong Headline and Clear Message
The first section should have a strong headline and deliver the right message quickly. Visitors should immediately understand why they came to the page and what is being offered to them.
Benefits and Trust Signals
The benefits of the service or offer should be explained clearly. References, short descriptions, reassuring statements and prominent call-to-action areas strengthen the page.
Prominent Call-to-Action Buttons
Prompts such as get a quote, apply now, get a free consultation or take a look should be presented simply but effectively. CTA buttons should lead users to the right action.
Value Proposition: The First Sentence Below the Headline
The headline grabs attention; the value proposition starts the decision. It should say in one sentence who you help, with which problem and what makes you different, and include a measurable detail such as delivery time, a guarantee or a local service area. The headline, value proposition and CTA appear together in the first visible area of the screen.
Social Proof: It Must Be Real and Verifiable
Client logos, reviews with real names, project examples, certificates and your Google Business rating are social proof. We only use what can be verified; fabricated reviews put both user trust and compliance with ad platform policies at risk. We place proof where visitors are likely to have doubts, usually right next to the price or the form.
A Single CTA and Message Match
There can be several buttons in different places on the page, but they all lead to the same action; “get a quote” and “download the catalog” don’t compete on the same page. The button text speaks the same language as the ad’s promise and says what will happen: “book a free discovery call” instead of “submit.”
Form Design: Number and Order of Fields
Every form field is a question, and every question is a reason to give up. We ask only for the information the sales team truly needs for the first conversation and leave the rest for the next step. For longer applications we use multi-step forms, starting with the easiest question and putting contact details last.
Form Technical Details: Keyboard, Errors and Privacy
We use the tel type for phone fields, the email type for email and the correct autocomplete values, so the right keyboard opens on phones and the browser autofills details. Labels are never left to placeholder text, and error messages appear right below the field, saying what to do. A link to the KVKK/GDPR privacy notice, a separate explicit consent checkbox where needed and spam protection are part of the form.
After the Form: The Thank-You Page
After submitting, visitors are greeted not by a bare confirmation message but by a thank-you page that tells them when, who and through which channel will get back to them. This page is also the reliable trigger point for conversion tracking and offers a natural spot for WhatsApp, a phone call or a second offer.
User experience, speed and mobile
UserExperienceinLandingPageDesign
User experience is one of the most important factors directly affecting landing page success. If the page is too long, complicated or unbalanced, users may lose interest. Orderly sections, short and clear descriptions, balanced whitespace and understandable buttons guide visitors more comfortably.
A landing page should not tire the user. When the page opens, it should be clear what the offer is, what the benefit is and which step the user is expected to take. A cleaner structure, shorter messages and carefully placed images bring users closer to the result.
We make interface decisions with a UI/UX design discipline: readable font sizes, text contrast of at least 4.5:1 at WCAG 2.2 AA level, buttons that are easy to tap with a finger and a call-to-action bar fixed to the bottom of the screen on phones. We use distracting elements such as pop-ups, autoplay video or banners that slide in as the page loads only when test results support them.
Simple, clear section flow
Copy that doesn’t tire the reader
Distraction-free design language
A CTA system that drives quick decisions
Why Speed and Mobile Responsiveness Matter
We track landing page speed with Core Web Vitals: LCP of 2.5 seconds or less for the main content, INP of 200 milliseconds or less for interaction response and CLS of 0.1 or less for visual stability are considered good. We reach these targets with WebP/AVIF images, inlined critical CSS, lazy loading for off-screen images, lean code without unnecessary plugins, and a CDN. We explain our methods in detail on our speed and performance optimization page.
An Experience Built for Mobile Users
Most users arriving from ad campaigns are on mobile devices. That is why the page must look comfortable on a phone, buttons must be easy to tap and content must be laid out in a balanced way.
Fast-Loading Pages Deliver Better Results
No matter how well a landing page is built, it can lose its impact if it loads slowly. Slow pages can drive users away. That is why performance and mobile responsiveness are inseparable parts of landing page design.
A Strong Mobile Experience Increases Conversions
Mobile users decide faster and expect results sooner. Form fields should be easy to fill in, headings easy to read and buttons clearly visible on screen. We build the design on a phone screen first and then expand it to larger screens; you can read more about this approach on our mobile-responsive design page.
Landing Page DesignLet’s Build Your Conversion-Focused Landing PageLet’s talk about your projectGoogle Ads and Meta ads
ImpactonSEOandAdPerformance
Ad platforms evaluate the landing page not only as a conversion tool but as part of the ad’s quality. In Google Ads, landing page experience feeds directly into Quality Score; on Meta, page and event data determine how the algorithm learns whom to show ads to. That is why we never think of landing page design separately from the digital marketing setup.
Consistency Between Ad Message and Page
When the ad message and page content move in the same direction, user expectations are better met. This alignment has a positive effect on conversion rates and makes the campaign work harder.
Support for Organic Visibility
Landing pages are often built for ad campaigns. But with the right title, description, content structure and technical setup, they can also contribute to organic visibility. We build landing pages that will serve as permanent service pages on SEO-friendly web design principles, and keep variants that exist only for ads and carry duplicate content out of the index with noindex.
More Efficient Campaigns
Sending ad traffic directly to a page built for the campaign usually delivers better results. That way, your ad investment is used more efficiently.
Google Ads Quality Score and Landing Page Experience
Google Ads Quality Score is calculated on a scale of 1 to 10 and is based on three components: expected click-through rate, ad relevance and landing page experience. For landing page experience, Google looks at whether the page offers relevant, original content for the search term, is easy to use on mobile, loads fast and is transparent about business information. That is why, in Google Ads landing page design, we echo the keyword group’s phrase in the headline and keep contact details and the privacy policy visible.
Landing Pages for Meta Ads
Visitors coming from a Facebook or Instagram ad weren’t searching for anything; something caught their eye while they were scrolling their feed. For these visitors, we offer more context than for search-intent users, a more visual story and a first step that asks for less commitment. Because Meta apps open links in their own in-app browser, we test the page in that browser separately and avoid heavy scripts.
A landing page that isn’t measured can’t be improved. Before the page goes live, we define in writing which action counts as a conversion, verify all tags in a test environment and set up reporting so it can be broken down by campaign source. For more in-depth analytics work, take a look at our SEO and analytics service.
In A/B testing, we change only one variable at a time: the headline, the offer, the form length or the placement of social proof. We run the test for full weeks so it covers weekday and weekend behavior, until both variants collect a meaningful number of conversions; deciding on an early difference after a few days is the most common mistake.
Every CTA, form submission, phone and WhatsApp click is tracked as a separate event
Every ad and campaign is reported separately with UTM parameters
Cookie consent is set up in line with KVKK/GDPR, and no tags fire before consent
Test results and decisions are documented in writing
GA4 Events and Key Events
In Google Analytics 4, we record form submissions with recommended event names such as generate_lead, and phone and WhatsApp clicks as meaningful custom events. The events that represent the real goal are marked as key events and imported into Google Ads so the campaign can be optimized on that data.
Central Management with Google Tag Manager
We gather all tags in a Google Tag Manager container, so adding a new conversion or platform doesn’t require changing the page code. Every tag is tested in preview mode, every published version is saved with a description, and you can roll back to the previous version when needed.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API
The browser-side Meta Pixel can’t capture every event because of ad blockers and browser privacy restrictions. With the Conversions API we also send the same event from the server and match the two sources with a shared event ID to prevent double counting. This setup helps Meta’s algorithm learn from more complete data.
How Is an A/B Test Set Up?
We publish variants under the same URL with a setup that splits traffic randomly and evenly, or with the ad platform’s own experiment tools. First a hypothesis is written, for example that splitting the form into two steps will raise the completion rate; then only that change is tested and the winning variant becomes the permanent version.

In our portfolio
Conversion-FocusedPagesMadeforYourBrand
Every campaign has a different goal. Some pages are built to collect form submissions, some to promote a product, and some to get quick quote requests. That is why landing page design should be goal-driven, not template-driven.
In the landing pages we build at Aurora Yazılım, we create a simple, strong and effective flow that takes users to the result. That way your web page becomes not just a showcase but a powerful digital tool that produces real results.
The principles we use on landing pages, speed discipline, single-focus product storytelling and measurable actions, also form the foundation of our other projects. The examples below show how this approach plays out on real sites; you can explore them all on our portfolio page.

Landing pages built for ad campaigns
beholdstudio.com.tr: Performance Discipline
The site of production agency BeHold Studio scored 100 on Google PageSpeed despite its heavy image and video content. We apply the same techniques, image optimization, prioritizing critical resources and stripping unnecessary code, to landing pages, where speed directly affects conversion.
halilesen.com and alipekin.com: Product-Focused Storytelling
In these olive oil and olive-growing e-commerce projects, we built simple page flows that put the product first, with clear pricing and add-to-cart areas. For time-bound campaigns such as harvest season, the same product-focused structure easily turns into a landing page dedicated to a single product or bundle.
neo-bloom.com: A Premium Visual Language
The interface we developed for luxury perfume brand NeoBloom carries its image with clean whitespace and strong product visuals. On ad pages for premium products, we likewise use this kind of controlled visual language and a few strong messages instead of a clutter of discounts.
Local and remote service
LandingPageDesignfromEdremit,Türkiye
On the Edremit Gulf, the economy largely follows the seasons; hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, boat tours and local producers have to gather strong demand in a short window. This makes landing pages focused on a specific date and a single offer especially valuable. For businesses across the Edremit Gulf region, working with a team that knows the area and its season makes it easier to set up the campaign correctly from day one.
We work remotely across Balıkesir and all over Türkiye. Brief meetings, design presentations and approvals run online, and we work the same way with our clients in Germany and the US. We provide 24/7 technical support for the pages we launch.
Early-booking campaign pages for hotels and guesthouses
Harvest-season pre-order pages for olive oil and local products
Season-opening and reservation pages for restaurants, beach clubs and events
Turkish, English and German page variants for international visitors
Single-project showcase pages for real estate and investment projects
Tourism Season Campaigns
On a pre-season early-booking page, the date range, room or package options and cancellation terms are visible on the first screen; visitors check availability via WhatsApp or a short form. When the campaign ends, the page isn’t deleted; it is updated for the next season and reused along with its tracking history.
Built for Local Searches
Visitors arriving from local searches such as “hotel in Akçay” or “boat tour in Ayvalık” want to see the location, directions and real contact channels on the page. We present this information with a map, a tap-to-call phone number and the business address, and set the ad targeting to the same area.

WhatDeterminesLandingPageDesignPricing?
Landing page pricing is driven less by the length of the page than by the technical work it involves and the scope of the campaign. We clarify the factors below together during the brief and present the scope as a written quote.
Receiving ready-made copy from you and writing conversion-focused copy from scratch mean different workloads.

Image and media needs
Working with existing images is different from preparing custom illustrations, product photos or video.
03
Forms and integrations
A simple contact form and a multi-step application, CRM sync, booking or payment integration differ in scope.
04
Tracking setup
Which platforms the GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion and Meta Conversions API setup covers affects the cost.

Web Design
OurOtherWebDesignServices
Landing Page Design doesn’t work alone; it works as part of a complete website strategy. All of our web design services are built to the same standard.
A landing page is a conversion-focused page used for ad campaigns, product launches, service applications, quote request forms, lead generation and special campaigns.
02What is the difference between a landing page and a regular web page?
Regular web pages usually contain a lot of information and many links. A landing page focuses on a single goal, which guides users to take action faster.
03Does a landing page improve ad performance?
Yes. When the ad message and page content move in the same direction, user expectations are better met. This can increase conversion rates and campaign efficiency.
04Is the landing page mobile-friendly?
Yes. Mobile responsiveness is crucial for landing pages. Since most users coming from ads are on mobile devices, the page must be fast, simple and easy to use.
05Can forms, WhatsApp and analytics be integrated?
Yes. Integrations such as a quote form, WhatsApp redirect, call button, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and conversion tracking codes can all be added to a landing page.
06How long does landing page design take?
The timeline depends on whether the copy is ready, the need for image production, the scope of forms and integrations, and revision rounds. A single campaign page with ready content goes live much faster than a page with a multi-step application form and multilingual variants. We share the exact schedule in writing after the brief meeting.
07Do I need a separate landing page for Google Ads?
It isn’t mandatory, but it is usually more efficient. One of the three components of Google Ads Quality Score is landing page experience; a page that echoes the search term in its headline, loads fast and focuses on a single offer strengthens that component. If you use different ad groups for different services, building a matching landing page for each is the healthiest approach.
08Can a landing page rank organically on Google?
It can, if it is built as a permanent service page with sufficient, original content. Short variants made only for ads, however, are usually kept out of the index with noindex, so they don’t compete with your main pages for the same content.
09Can a landing page be built within my existing website?
Yes. The landing page can be published under your existing domain, for example in a campaign folder, and uses your site’s brand language. The menu and distracting links are hidden on this page, and tracking tags are added to your site’s existing Google Tag Manager container.
10Do you run A/B tests for landing pages?
Yes. In campaigns with enough traffic, we test a single variable such as the headline, offer, form length or placement of social proof. We run the test for full weeks until both variants collect enough conversions, then make the winning version permanent. For a quote and details, reach us via our contact page.
